ForEverUs In Love is committed to protecting your privacy and giving you control over your personal information. This Account & Data Deletion Policy explains how you can request permanent deletion of your account and personal data, how we verify deletion requests, what we delete and what we may retain, and the timeframe for processing requests. This page is publicly accessible and available from our Privacy Policy and the app’s settings to meet Google Play requirements
1. How to request deletion. You may request permanent deletion in one of the following ways:
- In-app: Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Delete Account and follow the deletion flow; or
- Public web form: Visit https://foreverusinlove.com/pages/delete-account-and-data and submit the deletion request form; or
- Email: Send a deletion request to privacy@foreverusinlove.com from the email address or phone number associated with your account. Include the email or phone number registered to the account and clearly state that you request permanent deletion.
2. Minimum information required to start a deletion request

3. Verification and identity protection. To prevent unauthorized deletions and protect account security, we will verify your identity before completing deletion. Verification normally includes:
- Sending a verification code or a confirmation link to the email address and/or phone number associated with the account. Deletion will not proceed until the code/link is used.
- In exceptional cases, we may ask for additional non-sensitive information to confirm identity (e.g., username, recent in-app activity). We will only request sensitive documents if absolutely necessary and will delete such documents promptly after verification.
4. Processing timeline
- We will acknowledge receipt of your deletion request within 24 hours (automated acknowledgment).
- We will verify your identity and complete the account deletion within 30 days of successful verification.
- If deletion cannot be completed within 30 days for legal or technical reasons, we will notify you of the delay and provide the basis and estimated timeframe.
5. What “deletion” means. When your account is permanently deleted we will, where technically feasible:
- Delete your account profile (email, phone number, name, username) and credentials so you can no longer sign in.
- Delete personal content you created and uploaded (profile photos, uploaded media, personal preferences) where deletion is possible.
- Delete or irreversibly anonymize personally-identifying data in logs, analytics, or other systems where feasible.
- Remove your presence from feature-specific lists (e.g., match suggestions) and disable access to any paid subscriptions tied solely to the deleted account.
6. Limitations and shared content
- Content you shared with other users (for example, messages, shared media) may not be fully removable where removal would negatively affect other users’ accounts or conversations. In these cases we will remove your personal identifiers (anonymize) where possible while preserving the integrity of other users’ experience.
- Copies of content that other users saved or shared may remain in those users’ accounts.
7. Data we may retain and why. Some personal data may be retained after deletion for limited, legitimate purposes including:
- Legal, regulatory, tax, or accounting obligations.
- Fraud prevention, abuse detection and security (to prevent re-registration by bad actors).
- To comply with lawful requests (e.g., law enforcement or legal process).
- To preserve the integrity of other users’ content where required.
- Any retained data will be minimized, isolated, and subject to strict access controls and deletion schedules.
8. Backups and retention timeline
- We will complete deletion from our primary production systems within the 30-day window after verification.
- Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period used for disaster recovery. Backups are retained only as long as necessary for recovery and are generally purged within 90 days, unless a longer retention period is required by law or an active legal hold applies.
- During backup retention, your deleted data will not be accessible or used in normal service operations.
9. Third-party processors and controllers
- We use third-party service providers (for example, payment processors, cloud hosting, analytics, messaging). We will delete or instruct third-party processors to delete your personal data when we request deletion and when they act as our processor.
- Some third parties may have independent retention obligations that prevent immediate deletion. If a third party’s retention prevents immediate deletion, we will minimize retained identifiers and notify you where appropriate.
10. Data export before deletion
- You may request a copy of your personal data before deletion. Request an export via the in-app export option (if available), the public deletion form, or by emailing privacy@foreverusinlove.com.
- If you request both export and deletion, we will provide the export prior to final deletion. Exports will be provided in a commonly used, machine-readable format and made available via a secure, time-limited download link.
11. Irreversibility and re-creation
- Permanent deletion is irreversible. Once deletion is complete, you cannot recover the account or its contents.
- If you register again using the same email or phone, previously deleted personal data will not be restored.
12. Appeals, disputes and questions
- If you believe a deletion request was not handled correctly, or you did not authorize a deletion, contact privacy@foreverusinlove.com. We will acknowledge receipt of inquiries within 5 business days and investigate promptly.
- If we refuse or delay deletion because of a legal hold, investigation, or other lawful reason, we will notify you unless prohibited by law.
13. Security and confidentiality
- We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data during the deletion process. Access to deletion workflows and logs is limited to authorized personnel only.
14. How we notify you
- You will receive an automated acknowledgment when we receive your deletion request.
- We will send a verification message to the email or phone you provided to confirm identity.
- When deletion is complete, we will send a final confirmation by email or SMS to the contact you provided.
15. Exceptions and legal holds
- We may refuse or delay deletion when required by law or regulation, or when preserving data is necessary to respond to legal process, detect or prevent fraud, or enforce our Terms of Service.
- Where deletion is refused or paused for legal reasons, we will inform you of the legal basis unless prohibited.

17. Changes to this policy
